Is-Is

 

Is-is trees are spread across the site of varying heights and ages. Is-is tree is endemic to the Philippines. Sometimes called Sandpaper Leaf, the leaf is rough which is used to scrub pots and pans in the remote provinces. I try to stay away from them because the leaves are rough and itchy, after walking past right through them, you will find some of the leaves sticking in your clothing.
