Bagras

 

Bagras - I got 2 Mindanao Bagras seedling recently this May 2022 from Philippine Native Tree event at Quezon City Circle. I am trying to experiment if it will grow in Batangas. Given that it is native to Mindanao, I am not sure if it will thrive in Batangas soil.  I just can’t resist the beauty of this tree, so I’m going to try my luck. Shown is a young tree at 3 feet tall. The former owner said it is 2 years old, so I am assuming it is ready for field planting.
